Titans 2002

2002 Tennessee Titans Schedule
Date & Time Opponent Result Record
First season of new alignment (4 divisions per conference).
NOTES:
* New England finished 1st in the AFC Central in 2001. Oakland finished 1st in the AFC West in 2001. Tennessee finished 3rd in the AFC Central in 2001. Why the NFL saw fit to have us play the first place team from the East and West from the prior year I don’t know, but they had to fill out two games with someone. Starting in 2003, the league brought parity to this aspect.
** Pittsburgh penalized for “running into kicker” on Hentrichs’ missed field goal attempt.
