Penn Jillette on paranormal phenomena

Paranormal phenomena? I don’t believe in it. The word “paranormal” itself means it doesn’t happen. When you say something’s “supernatural” or “paranormal” it means the person saying it doesn’t believe in it. If it really happens, it’s “normal” and it’s “natural.” Anything that’s real is “normal” and “natural.” When someone says “paranormal” or “supernatural” they’ve already told me it’s not true.
