Kansas minister Mark Holick, being interviewed by CNN’s Rick Sanchez about the sign he put up stating “American we have a Muslim President / This is sin against the Lord”:

Well, my goal is to tell people about the truth, uh, that I believe the truth of the Bible states…

Ay, there’s the rub. Again we see, the Bible notwithstanding, that it always comes back to belief. It doesn’t get any clearer than this! The good Pastor Holick states he is basing his views upon his beliefs regarding the “truths” contained in the Bible.

In that regard, any random Doonesbury comic strip is just as authoritative and compelling a source as the Bible. Nice try.
