California Supreme Court overturns gay marriage ban

Domestic partnerships are not a good enough substitute for marriage, the justices ruled…

Like it or not, those of you who believe that the Equal Protection Clause applies to only some Americans had better get ready, because change is heading in your direction.  My prediction: Eventually the U.S. Extreme Court will get involved and will agree that “Equal Protection Under Law” means all Americans.

The bottom line is this: if the fucking government licenses it, it has to be equal.

Personally, I think the solution is to abolish marriage.  If it were up to me, that’s exactly what I’d do.  I’d immediately nullify all marriages performed in the United States and all marriages involving U.S. citizens, then I’d make marriage illegal.

(I’m going going, back back, to Cali Cali…)!
