Fox news reported yesterday something about which I was unaware…
Along with “The Office,” sitcoms that will stop the cameras include “Back to You,” “The New Adventures of Old Christine.” “Til Death,” “Rules of Engagement,” “Two and a Half Men” and “The Big Bang Theory.”
Damn it to Hell !!!
I only watch about 6 “regular” shows on TV (not counting shows on Discovery, History Channel, or Science Channel). The above quote makes clear that three of my shows are stopping production because of the strike: Back To You, Rules of Engagement, and The Big Bang Theory.
Three! THREE!! T-H-R-E-E!!! That’s half of my goddamned week! It’s actually over half of my goddamned week, as one of my six shows is “24″ whose season doesn’t begin until next year. Shit! Fuck!! God Damn It!!!
Ok, ok, you get the point. At least these writer’s strikes don’t usually last very long. Oh wait:
Writers have not gone on strike since 1988, when the walkout lasted 22 weeks”
Well, I guess the bright side is that we probably won’t have to be bored with reruns next summer!
